Here

So I have been here for almost a week. The reason I haven't posted is, I'm not sure what to say. My gut is literally telling me this is not home. I am so sick by about 3 pm every day that I just lay on the couch. Please no "maybe you're pregnant" comments. I'm not. I am really trying to convince myself this is normal but I know I don't deal well with change. This is probably the biggest change short of getting married and my body doesn't like it. Isabella and I have been cleaning mostly. She is sick with something and has been for a couple days so we can't really go out even if I knew where anything was.

I think I still felt "safe" when mom was here because until she left it was all still optional in my mind.

We got some cute pictures while she was here.

Here we are walking to campus. We brought he stroller for Isa to ride in. She refused.

Here they are having ice cream at the creamery on 9th

We walked over to the Provo temple for family home evening. Isabella really liked the fountains. We had to take some group shots.

Isa with mommy and daddy.

And of course a funny face.

maybe your pregnant. JK

I'm sorry. I would feel the same way if I was living in Utah. I'll be out in the winter sometime. And we can kick it. Also, look for some hotties that aren't weird.

Sounds like a hard adjustment. Utah is a wacky place. I'm sure things will improve.

Your mom looks so different!! She looks great. I can't quite place what is different about her. I almost didnt belive it was her until I got to the las close up picture. She must have lost weight. Change is hard and it is completely understandable that you would be feeling this way. Don't be too hard on yourself. It takes time.

Great pictures and good to see you posting again. I can always count on pictures of Isabella when you post. Have you verified when the Salt Lake City Marathon is? You need to start training for that and find out if Isabella can travel with us. If it really is downhill then she would pull us along and make it easier to run!

i looked it up today. it is june 2 which kind of stinks. well it doesn't stink at all when you see the elevation chart on their website. do they have blind man decide that it is flat and slightly downhill. they must be crazy. check it out. saltlakemarathon.com

if I send you some money, will you pick up some of those shades shirts for me and send them here?

Megan said...

what are shades shits?

Megan said...

ok, i really meant to say shirts

"Shades" is a brand- they make shirts that are actually designed to cover your garmets. I think they may just be online though.

loved the pics.

and I agree they had a blind man make the route. Lisa w. was wanting to run that marathon as her first and I suggested it might not be the best idea.

Shalene said...

yeah, I heard they make a killing on the shipping. I'll have to check out the website and give you a call.. Heh heh heh....you said "shits". cusser

Aww Megan!

I've never been to Utah but there's supposed to be amazing hiking trails! Maybe you just need some fresh air & good views! I hope you're feeling like your old self soon!

Besides, I bet Isabella is the most adorable little girl in all of Utah!!! :)

Sorry, I messed up the first comment - shadeclothing.com is the website and there is a link on the website of where there are retail stores throughout Utah to buy the layers.

The Malt Shop has some great shakes. If I were there, I would take you out for a shake to try to cheer you up. We could bond and eat sweets again.

kat said...

If I was there I'd be huddled in a corner ripping my hair out while trying to avoid Mormons.

Megan said...

i remeber that day. good times, good times. i was waondering if the malt shop was good.
